Objectives of this role

Support marketing Manager in delivery of effective marketing programs that achieve company’s objectives.
Assist in execution of a variety of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial and distribution, including the day-to-day execution across marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support.

Required Skills and Qualification

Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Role:

            Responsible for the ,mechanical design of a wide range of Laser Cutting & Welding machines and also providing technical support to other departments.

Research and develop ideas for new products, technologies, components, processes and the systems used to make them. Work to improve the performance and efficiency of existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

1)      Carries out detailed mechanical design work including 3D modelling, simulation (deformation & stress) and design verification testing, as required. Agreeing the mechanical design approach with the Engineering Manager and Senior Mechanical Design Engineers

2)      Control of Bill of Materials (BoM), CAD Models & Engineering Drawings.

3)      Responsible for creation of 2D drawings for manufacturing purchase.

4)      Machining part optimization as needed i.e. reduce the number of parts from machines & cost cutting.

5)      Undertake special projects as required.

6)      Support manufacturing and QA departments by resolving problems, determining root cause with effective documentation.

7)      Responsible to work in Product data management software i.e. “Teamcenter”

8)      Quality work should be there in Design.

9)      FEA & Calculations should be done for every project design.

10)   Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

11)   Study and understand Clients specific requirement and prepare assemblies, sub-assemblies, GA drawings.

12)   Follow delivery commitments as per schedule given by HOD or PPC.

13)   Following departmental processes relating to management of designs.

14)   Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs in design reviews.

15)   Is available for onsite customer support like presentation, fault finding in machine etc. as required.

16)   Machine should be aesthetically good, should consider safety and maintenance related parameters.
